Holy Crap, How do I keep up?
Courtney set me up with an Etsy account yesterday. It was her last push of help to me before she goes off to college...WE WILL MISS YOU COURTNEY...And now, that means I have to finish what she started, myself. This may be a problem. With all of this technology, I think they should invent a chip to be inserted in my brain and basically type my thoughts as I am running my design business and feeding my chickens and the dog and the finches. Not to mention, well about a million other things. I know I am not alone in this "how could I possibly have this much to do" problem but dang...Now there is ETSY. At this moment I am not sure why I have a website? Etsy caters to people who craft their own wares and people who sell or repurpose vintage items. THAT IS ME! I realize in these hyper creative moments, I am a crafter. I may make my living as a designer and I am be "artsy" but I am a crafter. Give me a glue gun and a paint brush and you can leave me alone for hours.
But it that were'nt enough, apparantly you have to document what you do to the online community. Work and amas a following and then continue to amuse and thrill. hmm.....How am I going to fit my life into this new passion for Etsy I have....We shall see...
Somehow this new idea (new to me) of Etsy is making me so excited to create some new cool things at Tumbleweed!
Already, I am wondering if my price point is right or if I should adjust what I make to fit a price point? For now, I know that this is another little adventure.....
